Within the last few years, research into extended reality (XR) has gained significant momentum. More and more companies are spending millions of US dollars in funding for the development of this technology. As a result, tech giants, including Google, Apple, Microsoft, Sony, and many more, have sections within their organizations dedicated to the development of extended reality. XR is a confluence of three tools: mixed reality augmented reality and virtual reality.
